🔐 Authentication Required

To use the API, you need to include two headers with every request:

X-API-Key: Your API key (starts with ak_live_)
X-API-Secret: Your API secret (64-character hex string)

Generate API keys: Business, Enterprise, and Partner subscription holders can generate API keys from their subscription dashboard.

⚠️ Keep your credentials secret. Your API key and secret grant full access to your account's credits. Anyone with these credentials can make requests charged to your balance. Never share them publicly, commit them to source control, or expose them in client-side code.

Pricing (credits per domain):

Real-time — /appraisal & /appraisal/list: 3 credits per new appraisal. Instant results, up to 1,000 domains per call.
Batch — /appraisal/batch: 2 credits per new appraisal. Asynchronous (results in minutes to hours), up to 5,000 domains per call. The cheapest way to appraise large lists.
Cached (already in our database): 1 credit. Your own appraisals: 0 credits (free).

💡 Appraising a lot of domains? Use /appraisal/batch to pay 2 credits/domain instead of 3. Real-time is for when you need results instantly; batch is for volume. (Enterprise & Partner plans can batch up to 50,000 per call via /appraisal/enterprise-batch.)
