Every appraisal includes two key ratings to help you make informed decisions: a Recommendation and a Confidence level. Recommendation The recommendation is based on the Optimistic retail value and indicates the quality tier of the domain as an investment: Rating Value Range Meaning Strong Buy $100,000+ Premium asset – highly desirable domain with strong market appeal. Buy $25,000 - $99,999 Quality asset – solid investment with good fundamentals. Hold $5,000 - $24,999 Decent asset – moderate value, situational appeal. Yes! There are two ways to share appraisal information with others: Save as PDF (Recommended) Click the green "Save as PDF" button at the top of any appraisal page. This opens your browser's print dialog where you can save a clean, professional PDF report that includes: Full valuation with estimated range All 6 pricing strategies expanded Strengths and weaknesses analysis Market analysis and comparable sales The PDF can be emailed or shared with anyone -- no login required for them to view it. What is a consensus appraisal?

A consensus appraisal runs five independent valuations of your domain, drops the highest and the lowest, and converges the middle three into one range. You get the same report as a standard appraisal - value range, strengths, weaknesses, market analysis, comparable sales - but the number behind it is the agreement of five opinions instead of one. Why it exists AI valuations, like human ones, vary between sittings. We measured this on more than 1,200 domains, appraising each five times: the typical gap between a domain's highest and lowest single valuation was 29%, one domain in three exceeded 50%, and on roughly one domain in five, at least one of the five runs spiked above 1.5x the median opinion. A single appraisal is a sample from that spread; a consensus is the center of it. Why five opinions Five is the smallest panel where you can discard both extremes and still average a majority (three). Since about one run in five spikes optimistic, dropping the highest and lowest guarantees a lone outlier - high or low - never touches your result. The result is remarkably stable: in our measurements, replacing any single opinion typically shifts the consensus by 0% (it moves only when two or more opinions genuinely disagree). Single opinions swing by a third; the consensus barely notices any one of them. More than five runs adds cost faster than it adds stability. Why is my domain displayed with a particular capitalization, and how can I see alternative word breakings?

When you submit a domain for appraisal, the system performs word segmentation -- the process of identifying where individual words begin and end within a domain name. Because domain names are written without spaces, many domains can be broken into words in more than one way. The way words are broken apart determines the domain's displayed capitalization (called camelization), such as showing SourceBank.com rather than sourcebank.com. The API Chooses the Most Beneficial Interpretation When multiple valid word-breaking options exist, the AI selects the segmentation that is most beneficial to the domain's value. Where to Find Alternative Interpretations Every appraisal report includes a Word Segmentation Analysis section. Within it, two fields capture the full picture: Segmented Shows the chosen word-breaking with spaces between words (e.g., "Above ID", "AI Xercises", "Source Bank"). This is the interpretation the AI determined is most favorable, and it drives the camelized display name you see throughout the report and in your history. Notes Describes alternative readings, ambiguities, and special considerations. When a domain has multiple plausible segmentations, the notes will call out each one and explain why the primary interpretation was chosen. This is where you will find secondary readings that may be relevant to different use cases or markets.
